Simple Ways to Put the "Sparkle" Back into Your Wedding Planning

Putting the sparkle back into wedding planning

Is Wedding planning wearing you out? How to put the “sparkle” back into the planning.

  • Take a minimum of a 2-week break. Just step away. No wedding thoughts, no wedding plans, and no wedding talk, period. When you start to feel that stress over the planning taking over your daily life, it's time for you to change your focus and your direction. In the big scheme of things, taking a two-week break won't don't any huge damage to your overall big day. In fact, a little rest may be exactly what you need to get your wedding planning, your excitement, and your focus back on track.
  • Let someone else take over. So many times we all tend to think that we can do more than what we really can, or should. Why not hand over the reigns to someone who has a bit more time and experience in the wedding planning business? You'll be amazed by how much less stressed you will feel if you can find someone else to just take over. And it doesn't have to be long-term, either. You can do whatever you want when it comes to planning and have someone take over completely, or just step in during your time of need. Any help is better than no help at all.
  • Include your friends and family. If you've taken up too much of your time trying to plan out every detail for your wedding, why not let some of your closest family and friends step in and help out? Not only will it give you a break and take a lot of stresses away, it's also a lot of fun to plan your big day with those that you love as well.
  • Relax, and understand that everything happens for a reason. If you are finding a few struggles in your wedding planning, just relax. It's important to understand that nothing is going to be perfect, but everything is going to work out. The sooner that you can realize this, the easier that you'll get that "sparkle" back.
  • Pamper yourself along the way. And the best way to get your "sparkle" back during wedding planning? Don't ever lose it in the first place! Have fun with the wedding planning process and pamper yourself along the way. Manicures, pedicures and spa days are a great way to get prepared for your big day. Who knew that you could get so much planning done while sitting in the relaxing room of a spa?

When it comes to your wedding day and all the planning that surrounds it, don't take the chance of dulling your shine. Enjoy the process of planning out every day and stay excited about it but trying a few of the suggestions above. The sooner that you realize that there are a ton of options out there to keep that "sparkle", the more excited about the wedding planning that you'll be.
